Security Notice
This Security Notice describes the safeguards Clarity Health Revenue Cycle Management maintains for Customer data, the access controls that govern it, and how security incidents are handled and notified.
1. Security Infrastructure
Clarity Health RCM is committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Customer data. Clarity Health RCM implements robust, industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. No warranty or guarantee is implied that such security measures will prevent all unauthorized access or data breaches, as no electronic transmission or storage system is entirely secure.
2. Access Controls and Encryption
Data transmitted between the Customer and Clarity Health RCM’s Services is secured using industry-standard encryption protocols (e.g., TLS/SSL). Access to Customer data within Clarity Health RCM is strictly restricted to authorized personnel utilizing principle-of-least-privilege access controls and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
3. Incident Response and Breach Notification
In the event of a confirmed security incident or data breach compromising Customer data, Clarity Health RCM shall execute its Incident Response Plan. Clarity Health RCM will provide written notification to the Customer without undue delay, and in no event later than the timeframes mandated by applicable state and federal laws (including the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act and HIPAA breach notification rules), detailing the nature of the breach, the data compromised, and the mitigation steps undertaken.
4. Customer Security Obligations
The Customer is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of its access credentials and for ensuring that its internal networks and hardware utilized to access the Services are adequately secured.
