Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy covers Customer data: what Clarity Health Revenue Cycle Management collects, how it is used and shared, and how long it is retained.
1. Scope and Purpose
This Privacy Policy delineates the protocols governing the collection, utilization, storage, and safeguarding of data provided by the Customer to Clarity Health RCM.
2. Data Collection and Processing
Clarity Health RCM collects information necessary to provision, maintain, and optimize the Services. This may include administrative data, user credentials, and business analytics data. Where Clarity Health RCM processes Protected Health Information (PHI) on behalf of the Customer, such processing shall be strictly governed by a separately executed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
3. Use of Information
Customer data shall be utilized exclusively for the purposes of: (a) delivering and improving the Services; (b) processing transactions and billing; (c) providing technical support; and (d) ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, including those mandated by the State of Illinois.
4. Non-Disclosure to Third Parties
Clarity Health RCM shall not sell, lease, or otherwise disseminate Customer data to unauthorized third parties. Data may only be shared with vetted sub-processors necessary for service delivery, provided such entities are bound by confidentiality and security obligations commensurate with this Policy.
5. Data Retention and Destruction
Upon termination of the Services, Clarity Health RCM shall retain or destroy Customer data in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including Illinois state retention laws, and the terms specified in the governing BAA.
